It was my first work day at RMIT, yesterday. The hammer room is wonderful. I am ambivalent about these new pieces. They are not quite where I want to be.
It is Melbourne and my belonging to it that I wish to express. What I have made, though, are shells. I want to make vessels with soul.
They are not quite finished yet. I intend using the plasma cutter on the dish of the first one. I don't know what I'll do with the other two.
