Otto's forms have an effortless elegance which is highlighted by their surface simplicity. In his statement on the Gallery Elmar Weinmyer web site he states that form and surface interest him. They seem to, though I believe by looking at his work, that the labour involved interests him equally and that the effort and process taken to make these forms is highly important.
